Troubleshooting

Hardware Checks:

 Check if you choose right input device:
Click SETUP button, click HARDWARE SETTINGS, choose your input device by checking appropriate CHECK BOX

- HRV Cable connected properly to the USB Port through the USB Adapter, HRV Cable's Receiver placed on the patient's clothing within no more than 20 inches (50 cm) from the transmitter (the enlarged central portion of the belt with the “Polar” label on it;

- Polar Chest Belt or QRS-Card electrodes placed properly on the patient's chest (refer to page 5 of the User Guide);

- USB MARX Key connected properly to the computer USB Port.

Software Checks:

-  Nerve-Express Software is installed on the computer which has Window XP/WISTA/Windows 7 pre-installed.

1. The Nerve-Express program doesn't start when you click the Nerve-Express icon.

 

Error Message: Application Error.

 

 

 

 

- Error Message: Check if correct Marx protection key is plugged in.

 

 

 

Install Database Support updates (the latest MDAC and MS Jet subsystems updates from Microsoft). You can find them on the Nerve-Express Installation CD or Microsoft Website.

 

 

 

Connect the appropriate USB MARX Key to the computer USB Port.

Note: Each Nerve-Express Version has a unique USB MARX Key for software protection!

 

2. Nerve-Express window is too large to fit the screen.

You need to change screen resolution to 1024x768. On the desktop go to Start Menu -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Display. Display Properties window appears. Select the Settings tab and adjust Screen Resolution to 1024x768 or higher.

3. There is no data input signal after the start of the test.

1. Correct placement of the chest belt is essential. To test if it is properly fixed, try to pull the middle front section of the belt with “Polar” label away from the body. If you are able to do this, you must tighten the belt more. For better conductivity use alcohol swabs or gel or water.
2. Check if you choose right input device:
Click SETUP button, click HARDWARE SETTINGS, choose your input device by checking appropriatr CHECK BOX.
